feb event: Jayce would notice repeat symbols inscribed on people's flesh, echoing ones found in the garage summoning circles. He'd also notice that the symbol spray painted onto the road signs shows up on the shrines, always with another rune (again found in the garage or on people's flesh) marked over the stasis symbol or even scrawled on top of it; it seems to indicate power or dominance over the stasis symbol. this will translate in jayce's notes as a theory that they were all summoned based on the symbol they are branded with, likely having to do with something akin to a magical "fingerprint" we likely match the most with on a metaphysical level.

IC NOTES
— when a symbol is on top of another, it means "power" or "dominance" over them.

— theory: they are "tenants" to the land and it's transformation; the tenants themselves are directives to follow by an unknown group that seemingly worships the moon and the transformation it bestows. sounds religious.

— serph's mark looks like wings. he's becoming a creature with wings (celestial).

— drifter who wishes to be anonymous feels an aversion to their regular diet. seems to have started at around the same time my metabolism has changed. said drifter has proposed we are becoming "undead" as the burned message says. i don't know how to feel about that. need more leads on what that even entails.

— my mark looks like death. i'm dying dead alive ???

— i may have slept for an entire day, maybe more. heart is working, but it's slow. slower than any heartbeat i've seen (viktor counted 10-20 bpm). it's cold consistently, but my body absorbs heat if there's enough of it nearby. the pain is dulled but chronically present. it's like looking through fog, or a viel, it's there but it's muddled (and maybe for the best). there's still liquid build up in my lungs, i can feel it. it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. i'll ask arcade to look at it.

— addenum: viktor says i stop breathing when i sleep. i still have a heartbeat. i've tried not to breathe to test that. result: i don't need oxygen to survive, only when i speak. it's too bizarre not to; if i'm conscious, i'll breathe.
