[ jayce hurriedly checks his pulse, his beating heart, his breathing . . . and smiles when he realizes everything's alright. he just went over the edge a little too hard. or. well. jayce took him there. they can't just stay here, with the water running, and when its off it'll start getting cold— so it's time to shut the shower head off, grab their towels from where they sit, and do everything within his reach to place viktor against him, comfortably. dry him (them) off while thinking of a way to get them out of here. if he's careful enough, jayce could manage carrying him. he'll just have to be careful with weight distribution . . .
eventually, viktor is fit with a spare, clean pair of pajamas which are just.... jayce's old, indoor clothes. he hopes that's alright. the bed itself would.... have to be cleaned, too? damn it. as a quick fix, jayce only removes the dirty bed covers that need washing and throw over new ones to keep them warm. he was waiting for this moment, too; slipping under covers and blanketing viktor beside him, breathing in his scent and kissing his bright red love bites. even as he lays his head down and watches viktor sleep, jayce's breathing is taken away by his love's tranquil beauty. by the moment. by all moments that led up to this, and how lucky he was.
the point of this day being: jayce is serious about doing what viktor asks of him, down to the period. that should count as quadruple points in his favor.
he deserves the rest— it'd been a long, eventful night. they were going to be wed. they slept together for the first time and then more, some. jayce learned his fiancé's refractory period was monstrously short and he was barely keeping up. hilariously. they— god, he's going about this for days.
jayce was going to wake up in a few hours, but the loss of those hours prior had been beyond worth it. he had no complaints. he'll catch a nap during his late morning breaks. viktor, of course . . . could stay in his bed for as long as he pleased. it may be plausible that by the time viktor does awaken, jayce won't be in bed anymore.
but he won't leave for the stables without giving him a soft kiss goodbye to his head. ]
